Meet Coon 🤎 Your Little Side-by-Side Companion
Some dogs find their favorite spot on the couch. Coon’s favorite spot is wherever you are.
This sweet Toy Bernedoodle boy comes from Jackie and Freedom, a pairing that has given us some of the most devoted companions we have raised. Coon carries that devotion in every little thing he does, from settling beside your head at bedtime to giving you those irresistible puppy dog eyes for one more kiss, one more pet, and just a little more time together.
Coon is neutered and crate trained. He knows the word “kennel,” although he sometimes waits to hear it two or three times before deciding you really mean it! He settles comfortably in his crate, even if he occasionally appreciates being tucked in himself. Playpens, however, are another story. This clever little climber has figured out how to get over them, so a playpen alone isn’t a reliable way to contain him.
We originally kept Coon while considering his place in our breeding program because his family is such a meaningful part of our lines. We have retained his full sister, and another full sister from an earlier litter is Puppet, our daughter Mads’ devoted companion and therapy dog. Now, we are looking for a home where Coon can pour all that love into being someone’s cherished everyday companion.
His coat tells a beautiful story of its own. Born mostly white, Coon has developed more color and unique ticking as he has grown. Each grooming seems to reveal another little detail. His look keeps evolving, but those expressive eyes and the sweet boy behind them remain unmistakably Coon.
We have loved his gentle, affectionate nature and feel he has lovely potential for therapy work with the right training and evaluation. He has shown us a sweetness around children that we deeply treasure.
Coon’s ideal home is with someone who wants a close companion and has plenty of time to share with him. A lap to curl into, a shoulder to lean against, and a person to follow through this crazy, beautiful life would mean everything to this boy.
He is welcome here until that person finds him. Some hearts are worth waiting for, and Coon has a whole lot of heart to give. 🤎🐾
