Hello, I’m Samantha — and alongside my husband Brett, we are the proud founders of Lawler’s Legacy Litters.
Animals have always been woven into the fabric of my life. I grew up as 1 of 11 children in a lively home filled with chinchillas, llamas, goats, chickens, donkeys, cats — and of course, dogs. My mother instilled in me a deep respect for animals and the responsibility that comes with caring for them. From an early age, I learned that tending to living creatures builds compassion, character, and purpose. Those lessons shaped not only my childhood, but the calling that would later become our family’s life work.
As I grew older, God placed two of my greatest teachers in my life — faith and my husband, Brett. Brett came into my life in a way that quite literally took my breath away. He showed me a love that felt steady, safe, and divinely orchestrated. He has supported every dream, every puppy, and every step of this journey without hesitation. Together, we built not just a breeding program, but a life rooted in love, hard work, and intention.
After years of hoping and praying, and even coming to terms we may never… God blessed us with our daughter, Mads (meaning “Gift of God”), born on April 26, 2023. She is the greatest addition to Lawler’s Legacy. Watching her grow up surrounded by animals, fresh air, and the rhythm of daily life on our land is incredibly special to me — because it mirrors the beautiful childhood I was given. One day, she’ll be right alongside us, loving and caring for the next generation of puppies.
Today, our life is full — of people, puppies, projects, and purpose. Brett is a general contractor and owner of Legacy Home Improvement, our roofing company, so our days are busy and hands-on. But in the middle of the hard work, there is so much joy. Breeding has proven to be one of the most rewarding — and humbling — professions we could have chosen. We are surrounded by a passionate community of dog lovers, supportive family members, and the daily reminder that a dog’s love is truly unconditional. I have this saying
GOD SPELLED BACKWARDS IS……. DOG! 🐶

The closest thing I’ve ever felt to Gods love is through these beautiful babies and their Unconditional Love!!
It is definitely not a coincidence! It’s Him! He has sent these little angels to help us remember His love in this crazy world!

We are so grateful you’re here and honored to share this journey with you.We are currently developing our six-acre property in the heart of Muskogee, Oklahoma — a place intentionally chosen to create both privacy and purpose. We wanted the peace of hearing crickets at night, open skies, and room to grow, while still having the convenience of town just minutes away.
Our land is more than property — it is our sanctuary. It provides space not only for our family, but for our dogs to thrive in a calm, enriched environment. We’ve also designed it to be a refuge where nature and wildlife can coexist alongside us, offering a quiet contrast to the busyness of city life.
We firmly believe that peaceful surroundings contribute to a healthier mindset and happier animals. The environment we cultivate here plays a vital role in the well-being, temperament, and balance of the puppies we raise.
This lifestyle may not be for everyone, but for our family, it is both a calling and a blessing. We are deeply grateful to say that we truly love what we do — and that passion is reflected in every puppy raised here at Lawler’s Legacy Litters.

At Lawler’s Legacy Litters, we are building something truly special through intentional, purpose-driven breeding. Rather than focusing on just one breed, we thoughtfully raise a variety of beloved companion breeds—because we believe every family is unique, and the perfect puppy isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Our highest priority is the health, structure, and overall well-being of every puppy we raise. Over the years, we have carefully refined our lines to produce healthy, well-balanced dogs with exceptional temperaments. Beyond health, we are passionate about pairing beautiful, distinctive coat colors with the one-of-a-kind personalities that shine from within. We love seeing each puppy’s character reflected not only in their temperament, but in the striking, unique details that make them unforgettable.
While we know perfection isn’t humanly possible, we believe there is something truly special about the puppies raised here. We often say that God has placed His signature on our program — and each of our babies feels just shy of perfect.
The only thing missing is the family they are meant to call their own.
