At Lawler’s Legacy Litters, our Double Doodles aren’t created simply for a unique look or a new name. These pairings have a purpose. ❤️
After years of raising Bernedoodles and growing up with small companion breeds, we wanted to explore how we could bring some of our favorite qualities together in a smaller, family-oriented companion.
Our Double Doodle program currently includes two special crosses: BERNEDOODLE X MALTIPOO BERNEDOODLE X CAVAPOO
Why Create these pairings?
Because sometimes the qualities a family is looking for don’t fit neatly into one breed label.
Our goal isn’t to mix breeds simply for the sake of mixing them.
We use these crosses as another way to intentionally select for the characteristics that matter most within our program: temperament, companionship, manageable size, structure, coat and connection with people.
And just like every other puppy we raise, there are no guarantees based solely on a breed name or generation. Coat, shedding, adult size and temperament can vary even among puppies within the same litter.
That is why knowing our parents—and knowing our puppies—is so important.
We don’t want to tell you that every Double Doodle is the same.
We want to help you find the one that fits you. 🐾
