F1b Medium Bernedoodle (Male) “Pax”
🐾 Meet Paxton 🐾
Breed: F1B Mini Bernedoodle
Birthday: April 26, 2026
Mom: Cali
Dad: Dale
Personality: Outgoing • Social • Silly • Confident • People Focused • Higher Energy
Paxton has been with us a little longer than some of his siblings from Cali’s Coast, which has given us the opportunity to really get to know this boy and spend extra time working with him. 💙
And if there is one thing we can confidently say about Paxton, it is that he is the life of the party. 😂🐾
Paxton has a higher-energy personality and approaches life with enthusiasm. He is outgoing, social, confident, and incredibly entertaining. When he gets excited, sometimes he simply needs to get a few zoomies out before his brain catches back up with his body. 🤣 Once that excitement settles, though, he listens well and is very capable of refocusing.
One of the things we love most about him is how quickly he recovers. He may get worked up during play or around several dogs, but he does not stay stuck there. With guidance, structure, and someone willing to help him understand his boundaries, Paxton comes right back down and is ready to listen.
He carries so much of that classic Bernese Mountain Dog silliness, paired with a little bit of Poodle speed, and I am not going to lie… the combination is hilarious. 😂 He can make people laugh without even trying. There is just something about him that brings joy into a room.
❤️ We still see therapy and emotional-support potential in Paxton.
Underneath all of that puppy enthusiasm is a boy who watches his person. When he is removed from the excitement of his siblings and other dogs, you can really see him begin to observe, check in, and connect with the human beside him. That is one of the biggest reasons we have continued investing time into him.
Paxton will soon spend some time in a foster home away from his siblings so he can continue learning how to regulate his excitement without so many other puppies feeding that energy. We believe having more one-on-one time will allow even more of his people-focused side to shine.
He would thrive with someone who understands that energy is something you channel, not something you have to eliminate. He would love adventures, training sessions, walks, outings, and being included in everyday life. With the right person, we could absolutely see him becoming a wonderfully goofy emotional-support companion or even continuing toward therapy-type work.
As Paxton matures and is neutered, we do expect some of that intense puppy energy to soften. What we do not expect to disappear is his personality. His silliness, his goofy expressions, his love for people, and his ability to make everyone around him smile are simply part of who he is. 🥹💙
Paxton may not be the puppy for someone looking for the quietest dog in the room today. He is for the person who can look at him and see who he is becoming.
Someone who will give him boundaries.
Someone who will give him an outlet.
Someone who will laugh with him.
Someone who will continue teaching him when to play hard and when it is time to settle.
Because once this boy finds his person, we truly believe he is going to be unforgettable. 🐾💙
Sometimes the puppies with the biggest personalities simply need someone who knows how to help all of that personality find its purpose.
