Eden Rose carries her mama’s name for a reason. 🌹
From the time she was tiny, I couldn’t get over how much she reminded me of Eden as a baby. There are certain puppies where you can already catch little glimpses of who they’re going to become, and I truly expect Eden Rose to grow up looking so much like her beautiful mama.
But her looks aren’t the only thing that makes this girl special.
There is something else in Eden Rose that I recognize.
Something that reminds me of my boy GOAT.
It’s difficult to explain because sometimes, after you’ve raised generations of dogs, you don’t need to wait for them to grow up to recognize it. You see a certain look. A mannerism. A presence. A little something in their personality that immediately takes you back to another dog who left their mark on your heart and your program.
Eden Rose has had that from the beginning.
She is one of those puppies that makes me thankful for every extra day I get with her because I know eventually someone else is going to get to call her theirs.
And goodness, is that going to be a special day.
There’s also something perfectly fitting about her name because Eden Rose has a way of making you feel like…
“Yes. It’s you. You get the final Rose.” 🌹🤍
She is beautiful, but what I love most is everything her family tree represents. She’s another generation of dogs we have loved, learned from and intentionally carried forward.
Eden gave her the name.
Her family gave her the foundation.
And now Eden Rose is just waiting for the person who gets to become the rest of her story. 🌹
