F1b Maltipoo “Scout” (Male)

$2,500.00

🌳🐾 Some puppies have a family tree that means a little more to us… and Scout is one of them. 🫶🏼

When you’ve been raising puppies for as long as we have, you start to realize that it isn’t always about the litter in front of you.

Sometimes, you have to look back through the branches. 🌿

Scout comes from our sweet Jackie, one of our small Mini/Toy Poodles who has now blessed us with five wonderful litters of beautifully tempered babies.

And Jackie isn’t just one of our moms.

She has become a little family tree of her own. 🤍

We have actually kept THREE of Jackie’s babies within our own family because there are certain parents who just seem to make good eggs, no matter which carton they come in. 🤭🥚

One of those babies is Puppet, our daughter’s therapy dog. 🥹🤍

And if you’ve followed us for a while, you’ve probably seen Pixie around here too! Pixie is Jackie’s Bernedoodle daughter, produced when we paired Jackie with our boy Freedom.

Different dads.
Different crosses.
Different litters.

But that same special piece of Jackie keeps showing up. 🌳✨

And that is exactly why her babies are so hard for me to let go of quickly.

For this litter, we paired Jackie with our Maltipoo boy Baton Rouge, and I genuinely could not be happier with the little angels the two of them created. Their temperaments have been everything I hoped they would be.

And then there is Scout. 💙

Scout is a rare blue merle phantom Maltipoo, but as beautiful and unusual as his coloring is, that isn’t what makes me hold onto him.

It’s his roots.

I know the dogs behind him.
I know the temperaments behind him.
I know what his mama has produced time and time again.

And I also know we may never make this exact pairing again.

Maybe Jackie will be paired with Baton Rouge again someday. Maybe another male will complement her in a way we want to explore. That is part of thoughtfully building our program and watching this family tree continue to grow.

So Scout isn’t going anywhere in a hurry. 🫶🏼

He will stay right here with our family, continuing his training, learning, growing and showing us more of who he is…

until somebody notices what a rare little phenomenon he really is. 💁🏼‍♀️💙

Because around here, we don’t just fall in love with a puppy.

Sometimes we fall in love with an entire family tree. 🌳🐾🤍
