Marshmallow is the kind of little dog who leaves a lasting mark on your heart. He has been Mads’ right-hand man from the very beginning — her shadow, her sidekick, and the one always determined to stay exactly where she is. If she moves, he moves. If she climbs, he somehow believes he can too. Marshmallow has never believed much in limits, and he will absolutely defy gravity, physics, and common sense if it means staying close to his person. 🤍🐾
He is also a half sibling to Puppet, Mads’ personal dog, and carries that same deeply connected, people-focused nature that makes certain dogs feel extra special in a family setting. That bond-minded temperament shows up in everything he does — he wants to participate, stay close, and understand his people.
Fearless is one of the best ways to describe him. He is brave, curious, affectionate, and incredibly devoted. He does not sit back and watch life happen — he wants to be right in the middle of it, involved in whatever his family is doing. Whoever brings Marshmallow home needs to truly want a companion who plans to be wherever you are… everywhere. He is an absolute Velcro dog in the sweetest way, happiest following room to room, riding along, or curled up beside you while you go about your day. 🫶🏼
Marshmallow has recovered beautifully from his neuter and is at such a wonderful stage of life to join the right family. He is potty trained, holds it overnight, and already understands the rhythm of living inside a home, which makes his transition much easier for a new family. ✨
He would make an exceptional first dog for a child, especially for a little one wanting that once-in-a-lifetime best friend to grow up beside. His natural attentiveness, desire to connect, confidence, and willingness to stay engaged also give him the building blocks many families look for in a therapy prospect.
